Where are you on the road?

Start where you are. There's no wrong place to begin.

If church hurt you before, that's real — and it matters. These studies aren't a church pitch. There's no membership form, no offering plate, no pressure. It's just the Bible, taught honestly, by someone who's been through hard things too. Come as you are.
16 Studies. One Road.

Liz walks the full story of Scripture — from the first word of Genesis to a place prepared for you in eternity. Watch in order or start where you are.

How It All Began
1
Let's Talk About The Bible
Before anything else, Liz sits down and talks about this book — why it's different from every other book ever written, and why it still speaks directly into your life right now. A gentle, honest place to begin.
2
In the Beginning
Where did everything come from? Liz walks through the opening chapters of Genesis — not as ancient history, but as the story of a God who created you on purpose, with intention, before you ever took a breath.

3
The Fall
Something went wrong — and we all feel it, every day. This is where Liz traces that moment back to its source. Not to place blame, but to understand why things are the way they are, and what it means for you.

A Couple of Surprises — Enoch Disappears, and Fallen Angels
Some of the most mysterious and overlooked stories in the Bible are right here — a man who never died, and something dark moving in the background of the ancient world. Liz brings it to life in a way that's hard to forget.

5
After the Flood — Babel
The world starts over after Noah. But it doesn't take long for people to try building their own way up to God. Liz walks through what happened at Babel — and why we're still doing the same thing today.

7
Abraham's Last Test — He Becomes Father of the Faithful
The hardest thing God ever asked anyone to do. This is the moment that defines Abraham — and the moment that quietly points to something far greater. Liz shows you what it looks like to trust all the way through.
⏱ 16:06 ▶ Watch Study 7
8
The Birthright
Two brothers, one blessing, and a choice that changes everything. Liz traces the line of promise through Jacob's story — and what it teaches us about how God works even through our worst moments.

Moses Survives and Becomes
A baby in a basket. A man on the run. A burning bush that doesn't burn out. Liz walks through the early life of Moses — and what it means when God isn't finished with someone. Including you.
⏱ 12:01 ▶ Watch Study 10
11
The Tabernacle Plan
God gives Moses precise instructions for a tent — every measurement, every material, every detail. Why does it matter? Liz shows how every part of the Tabernacle points to a God who doesn't want to stay distant. He wants to live close.

Short Words for Real Days

A few minutes with something true. Liz writes from where she's been — not from a place above the struggle, but from inside it.

You Were Made on Purpose
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you."
Jeremiah 1:5
There are days when you wonder if any of this was intentional — your life, your struggles, the path you're on. But this verse isn't just about Jeremiah. It's the pattern of how God operates. He didn't stumble across you. He formed you knowing exactly what your life would look like. Whatever road you're on today — you are not an accident, and you are not forgotten.

What the Burning Bush Means for You
"The bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed."
Exodus 3:2
Moses had been in the wilderness for forty years when God showed up in a burning bush. Forty years of feeling like nothing was happening, like his best days were behind him. And then — God spoke. What I love about that bush is this: it burned but it wasn't destroyed. Some seasons feel like fire. But God's presence in the fire doesn't consume you. It gets your attention.

The Road Leads Somewhere
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Psalm 119:105
I didn't always know where I was headed. The road of life felt like a lot of wrong turns and dark stretches before I understood where it was actually going. That's why I keep coming back to this verse. A lamp doesn't light the whole road at once — just enough for the next step. That's all you need. One step at a time, and the Word to light the way.

"I've been where you're at on the road of life. And I want to show you where it led me."
There was a time when I was searching — for something real, something that held up when life didn't. I went through enough hard seasons to know that most of what the world offers doesn't last. But I found something that does. The Word of God changed my life, changed my marriage, changed the way I see everything. These studies aren't just information — they're what I wish someone had sat down and walked me through years ago. That's why I made them. For you.

"I came home from war broken. I didn't know how to say it, but everything was wrong. The Bible gave me something no one else could."
I served as a Marine. Came home 100% disabled. The things I saw and did didn't leave when I got on the plane home. For years I tried to manage it — kept busy, kept moving. Eventually Liz walked me through the Word. Not in a preachy way. Just honest. Just real. What I found there wasn't religion. It was truth that reached into the places nothing else could touch. I'm still a work in progress — but I know where I'm going now. That changes everything.

Has your life been touched by these studies? Liz would love to hear from you.

Key Scriptures on Salvation

Acts 2:38
Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." — The cornerstone of the gospel message.
John 3:5
"Jesus answered, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.'" — Jesus speaking directly about what new birth requires.
Romans 10:13
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." — The promise is not complicated. Calling on His name is available to anyone, anywhere, right now.
Isaiah 1:18
"'Come now, and let us reason together,' says the Lord. 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.'" — God is not waiting to condemn. He's inviting you to the conversation.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." — The road leads somewhere. He is the road.

Find Your Community

The road of life is meant to be walked with other people. Here's how to find a church that teaches the full Bible — the way the early church did.

What to Look For in a Church

Preaches the full gospel — repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name, and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). These aren't suggestions — they're what Jesus and the apostles taught.
The Bible is the final authority — not tradition, not opinion, not what feels comfortable. The Word is the standard. A good church always points you back to the Scripture.
People who genuinely live it — not perfection, but honesty. Look for people who love each other, who are real about their struggles, and who keep showing up.
A place you can bring questions — a healthy church welcomes hard questions. If you're told not to ask, that's a warning sign. Truth can stand up to scrutiny.

Not sure where to start? Reach out to Liz — she can personally help you find a church near you that teaches the full gospel. She's been through this and knows what to look for.

About Liz
Liz Waage

I've been where you're at on the road of life. I know what it feels like to be searching — for meaning, for truth, for something real that holds up when everything else doesn't.

These studies are the result of years of walking through the Bible personally and wanting to share what I found. Not a lecture. A conversation. Come as you are.

Liz and her husband Reider live in Elk Grove, California. Reider is a 100% Disabled USMC Combat Veteran and founder of the Path To Work ecosystem.

The Road We Walked Together

Faith isn't always a straight line. Here's a little of how we got here.

💑
Reider & Liz Waage
Elk Grove, CA · USMC Family · Apostolic Faith

Reider came home from combat a changed man — and not in the ways people talk about at parades. The weight of what he'd seen and done came home with him. For years we walked through it together, doing the best we knew how. But there was a hole that nothing filled — not therapy, not busyness, not good intentions.

The Word of God reached where nothing else could. Not a program, not a denomination, not a set of rules — the actual Bible, read honestly, opened up something in both of us that we hadn't known was possible. Reider found truth that could hold his weight. I found a purpose that was bigger than my own story.

That's why this site exists. Not as a ministry project. Not as a platform. Just as an honest answer to the question: what happened to you? This is what happened. And we believe it can happen for anyone who's willing to follow the road all the way to the end.

"The road of life leads somewhere. We found out where."
